Loftus Town Crier is a free paper started in 1989 which is now distributed quarterly in
March -Spring Issue, June - Summer Issue, September - Autumn Issue and December - Winter Issue, to local distribution points such as Loftus library and Post Offices, or we can post it to you at a small subscription price.
We are a small group of volunteers and are always looking for more helpers and fresh ideas, involvement can be great or small, depending on what suits the individual.
We do features on local events - that are often not covered by any other press - such as 'Citizens Award' and Loftus In Bloom, we also do features covered by the press but we do them in our own style, we frequently have articles from local groups and the Town Council.
We hope having the paper on the web will encourage more readers and more input.
You can make suggestions for articles or submit an article for consideration in future issues, it might be a recent or coming event you feel people might be interested in, or perhaps a history article you would like to include, or perhaps something you have read has jogged a memory you would like to share with us. Please get in touch. |
